6/27/08  Time for another update.  We hope you're all doing well.  We competed in Daytona Beach at our Regional competition on May 2 and 3.  We came in 3rd place this year.  Yippee!!!!!  We had a fabulous time.  Photos and video will be updated soon.  Since competition, we have all been really busy in our personal lives so we've taken a few weeks off.  Cindy's mom passed away on May 26th after a long illness.  She was a beautiful lady that in her small way made a big impact on this earth.  We will all miss her.  Dana had surgery on her neck on June 20th.  She is healing well.  Both Cindy and Dana appreciate all the cards, letters, phone calls and support they have received from all of you during these trying times.  We're beginning to look at new music and getting ready to gear up for contest next spring.  We will try to update the site more often.  Please let us know how you're doing by signing our guest book.  Love to all of you ~ Outrageous

3/10/08  WOW.  It's been such a while since we posted.  Let's see...what's new.  We are working hard toward contest in Daytona May 2 -3.  Our contest music is selected and we found a beautiful costume.  We feel ahead of the game!!!  We have been working with the wonderful Holly St. John as well as the fabulous Gene and Iris Cocroft and having a WONDERFUL time together sharing our journey as best friends!!! 

In October of 2007, we performed on the Hilton Head Shores Chorus show with Rounders.  (see our pics).  We also sang on the same stage with Rounders on the Gulf to Bay Chorus show in February.  What an enjoyable experience and a fabulous Quartet.  If you haven't had the opportunity, find a show in your area featuring Rounders.  You won't regret it. 

In January, we were fortunate to sing on the Region 9 Winter Workshop Saturday evening show.  We had a blast.  We have such a fabulous region and felt the love from the audience. 

Other than that, life goes on for all of us.  I'll try to update the website more often to keep everyone informed of our comings and goings.  We'd love to hear from you so be sure to visit the other pages on our website and sign our guestbook.

9/10/07  Outrageous had a GREAT time at Labor Day Jamoree at the beautiful Buena Vista Palace in Orlando.  We were fortunate enough to sing on the Saturday night show.  What a blast.  The Sunday night show was the highlight of the weekend.  The headliners were OC Times and MaxQ.  It was a dynamite show.  I've uploaded photos...take a look.  A good time was had by all...relaxing, singing at the pool, reuniting with old acquaintances.  For those of you who have never been, LDJ is an awesome weekend.  Come on down next year!


7/24/07  It's been a while since we updated...We had a phenomenal coaching session with Joe Connelly last week.  What a treat.  It's only July and we're already working on contest material.  He is truly AWESOME JOE!  We had our Outrageous Garage Sale (to raise money to pay for coaching with people like Joe, Randy, Debbie, etc)  It went well.  I don't know who decided to have it in FLORIDA in JULY, but it was a success.  Hot...but a success.  At about 10:30, we SLASHED prices....At 1:00, we marked everything "DONATION", closed the garage and jumped into the pool.  Check out our photo page for updated photos.  Love to all.  Outrageous

4/16/2007 - Outrageous competed in their first Sweet Adeline's competition (Go Region 9).  We were the proud recipients of the 4th place medals.  We are sooooo excited.  We did our Barbie package...Sporty, Fashion, 60's and Western Barbies...We sang two parodies to "I'm a Beautiful Doll" and "I miss Heather Most of All"  (a take off of  I miss Mother most of all.)  We had the best time on stage.  It was soooo much fun.  The audience laughed in all the right places (which helps in a parody). 

To top the weekend off, the Gulf to Bay Chorus (led by Outrageous' own Denise "Fashion Barbie" Helbig) received 2 awards.  They were Most Improved, with an increase of 74 points from last year.  They also won 3rd place in the AA Medium Size Chorus Division.   The chorus also came in 6th overall in the Region.   What a fantastic weekend.  I'll get the photos up on the website soon.
